REGENT’S HOUSE
interior lighting design
This university exam centered around the simulation of the electrical system for Regent's House, a remarkable architectural structure that serves as the residence for the Cranford Collection. The first project aim is to create an environment able to host different artworks, therefore it requires a multifunctional illumination capable to highlight the collection, add value to the artworks and also set a correct atmosphere.
In addition to being a museum, this space is also the home of the owners. Therefore, the private spaces must have an ideal lighting balance in order to create a warm and relaxing environment. That sets the second aim of the project, which is to create an environmental illumination which correctly interacts with the exhibition area, without interfering with the artworks display, but creating a balanced duality of both purposes.
